In 2006, Jaak Leen and Maurits Vanaken, who are brothers-in-law, founded the "Tapshoeve". The name was inspired by the farmhouse where Maurits and his sister were raised. Jaak and Maurits share a passion for horse breeding, with a focus on pairing the finest bloodlines with their mares and training the offspring to become top-tier sport horses. Their ultimate goal is to produce elite sport horses that are unrivaled in quality.
